Description:
Located in a privileged area in Cascais, exposed to the sea and light, this house comprises a specific program of three interdependent apartments but organized as a single house, functionally able to have private experiences. The surroundings are composed of a stabilized urban area whose houses volumetry agrees with the proposal, on a uniform street front.
The house is composed of three overlapping volumes that create spaces of light and shadow, where the interior and exterior space are directly related. The volume of the ground floor stands out for the outside wooden finishing and the console created by the volume of the middle floor.
The last volume crowns the whole in a smaller footprint, creating a set of terraces exposed to the three main sun fronts.
